We have two luxurious suites in The Steading at Coruisk House (one suite with two double bedrooms, sitting room, shower room and separate bathroom; the other suite with large bedroom, entrance hall/drying room and large bathroom) and two lovely en-suite guest rooms (both with shower rooms) in Coruisk House – all designed for the comfort of our guests with ‘little extras’ included. Each bedroom has a king-size double bed and is individually furnished. The rooms have sheepskin rugs, fine linen, duck down pillows and duvets, full length mirrors, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, homemade tablet, fresh fruit and Strathmore bottled water. Complimentary Belgian hot chocolate is available for our guests in the evenings. The en-suite shower rooms (Coruisk House) and bathrooms (Steading only) have fluffy towels, bathrobes and White Company toiletries. Both rooms in Coruisk House and the Upper Steading suite are situated on the first floor and have views from the front of the house over Loch Slapin and towards the mountains of Knoydart. The rooms are open for reservations from 1 March 2019 until 28 October 2019. Please note that the access between the shower room and the bedroom in the cream iron bed bedroom has a low ceiling (5 feet and 5 inches high) so the cream iron bed bedroom is therefore unsuitable for guests with restricted mobility. The bedroom and the shower room themselves are full height!
We have a very cosy and beautifully furnished guests’ sitting room with a wood burning stove, comfortable day-bed for your relaxation, and a television. The perfect place to enjoy a Highland gin before dinner or a dram of single malt after dinner!
Guests can enjoy the pleasure and convenience of dining in our critically acclaimed restaurant. Advance table reservations (24 hours in advance minimum but reservations made well in advance of a stay with us are strongly recommended) are essential. A Michelin guide entry for 2016, 2017 and now 2018 – Coruisk House was reviewed by Hattie Ellis in Delicious Magazine in 2016 as serving ‘…..the best food I had on Skye’.
We have Wi-Fi available for our house guests.
